I stayed in Tsim Sha Tsui (TST) for two weeks and used it as a base for hiking in Kowloon, Central, New Territories, and Lantau Island. It’s just a good central spot. The good thing about staying here and not on Hong Kong Island is that it is slightly cheaper and you can get some cheap hotels that you just can’t find on the other side of the harbor. For $45 a night, you can already get a good size, comfy twin room fitted with everything you need including a safety deposit box. Some rooms boast panoramic views of Kowloon and shopping and dining options are just moments away from the hotel. There is a shopping mall connected to the hotel so it’s pretty handy for shopping. Just below the hotel, you can easily spot the MTR station and the bus stop is just in front of the property.
Location wise, I definitely recommend this place and it is BY FAR the best value, cheap hotel in the Tsim Sha Tsui region of Hong Kong.
