10 BEST HOSTELS IN CORON, PALAWAN
There are three distinctively different regions to stay in Coron such as Coron Town Proper, Busuanga Island, and Coron Island, which is a separate island across Coron Town Proper. But the main tourism hub is in Coron Town Proper and it has more accommodation options and tour offerings. These are the top 10 hostels in Coron.
Hop Hostel (Rooftop View): This is by far the best hostel in Coron. Perched on a hill, Hop Hostel assures you to deliver high-standard hospitality and delicious food. The hostel offers a wide range of rooms that can accommodate up to eight guests with almost complete amenities. Each bed in a dorm room has its own curtain to maintain privacy and a locker.
All rooms have a tea/coffee maker, hairdryer, bidet, and wardrobe. The highlight is the spectacular rooftop terrace where guests can enjoy a lovely sunset view. They have a plethora of activities every day and entertainment in the evening so staying here will give you so much fun. I love the fact that the party and noise end at 11 P.M. so everyone can rest before doing any activities the following day. The hostel has free Wi-Fi, an in-house restaurant, and a bar.
HAPPY CAMPER HOSTEL
Happy Camper Hostel (Value for Money): Another best hostel in Coron is Happy Camper Hostel. If you want to be near to everything, then this is a hostel for you. Happy Camper Hostel only offers dormitory rooms with separate single beds for $9 a night which is unusual for a hostel.
There is a stand fan between each bed, an iPod dock, flat-screen TV, a seating area, and a balcony. Other amenities include free parking, complimentary Wi-Fi, a shared bathroom with hot showers, a shared lounge, kitchen, and barbecue facilities. It’s fairly basic and minimal yet centrally located and has a clean hostel. It has everything you could need for a comfortable stay and it offers good value for money.
