Are you ready for the trip of a lifetime in Indonesia?
Experience the raw beauty of the Nusa Islands in Bali, Indonesia on a 10-day adventure on March 1st, 2018.
Nusa Lembongan, Nusa Ceningan, and Nusa Penida are the most underrated islands in Bali and our crew is going to have the adventure of a lifetime. On March of 2018, the selected participants will travel with me throughout the islands on boats, ferries, and mopeds exploring the Nusa Islands. You can expect hiking, snorkeling, swimming with Manta Rays and cliff-jumping.
Throughout the trip, you will be creating content on some of the most amazing adventures you could imagine. (Daily itinerary at bottom of article)
Blogging and Social Media Workshop
Each day we will have a workshop focused on a different topic. This is the first time I have shared my unique strategies and techniques, which will guide you as you try and break into this competitive industry.
1.5 years ago I created my travel blog. I am one of the youngest professional travel bloggers and my growth has surprised many who have been in the industry for a long time. In my first month, my travel blog was viewed 12,000 times. In my first year of travel blogging, I was invited by multiple tourism boards to visit and create content in their country. I was also selected to create content on a number of paid campaigns around the world.
Within 6 months of beginning my blogging and social media journey, I was earning enough to cover my travel expenses and to start saving money each month.
I want to help driven people achieve the same success so that you can be on your way to a life full of adventures away from the monotony of the 9-5.
My blog now averages over 150,000 page views per month and generates a passive income each month, which means I will be able to travel consistently for the rest of my life. Many people start travel blogs and get lost in the crowd and lose motivation. At the end of this trip, you will be equipped with the mentality, knowledge and the basic skills to give you a competitive edge on the thousands of bloggers and influencers trying to break into the industry.
- Defining YOUR ideal audience
- How to create content people want and need
- How to make money from blogging and social media
- Pinterest strategy
- Photography skills
- Lightroom editing
- WordPress/website skills
- How to make an appealing media kit
- How to Successfully Pitch to Hotels, Brands and Companies
- Basic SEO (Search Engine Optimization
*To be eligible for this trip you need a travel blog and/or Instagram of any age or size. I am looking for people to join this adventure crew who are insanely driven and determined to make their online dreams a reality through their blog and social media. It doesn’t matter if you have 500, 5,000 or 50,000 followers. If you have the mentality and drive to succeed you are the kind of creator who will thrive in this environment.
Anyone can be a blogger or an influencer, but can you separate yourself from the pack and be a successful creator making a living from traveling the world and producing content.

Itinerary subject to change due to weather, availability or if the crew votes in favor of a different adventure spot. These are all awesome spots but together as a team, we can shuffle it slightly if we discover an adventure we all agree we just can’t miss!
Workshop and Tour Fee $1000 USD
Accommodation is included but you are responsible for additional costs:
Food: Budget for $15-20 depending on your selections ($150-200 total)
Sim Card with Data: $10-$15
Ferry Sanur to Nusa Lembongan: $25 (Includes taxi from hotel)
Ferry Nusa Lembongan to Nusa Penida: $10
Ferry Nusa Penida to Sanur: $30 (Includes taxi to hotel)
Snorkel Day trip with Giant Manta Ray: $20
Flights to and from Bali (Denpasar Airport DPS)
The majority of the adventures are free. Hikes, waterfalls, beaches, and lagoons are the prime spots on the Nusa Islands. The snorkel day trip will be the most expensive activity of the trip. You could expect to spend only $300 on the trip. (Accommodation is included in the Workshop and Tour fee)
Accommodation is included in the fee and will be mid-range accommodation. Wifi and air-conditioning will be available at each accommodation. I will do my best to choose accommodation with good vibes, good wifi and most importantly a good location as a base for our adventures. Below you can see an example of a mid-range accommodation likely what I will be booking for our time on the Nusa Islands.
Food and drinks
We will be eating at local cafe’s, restaurants and street food. You are welcome to eat and drink at any place you prefer time permitting. The food is quite good in the Nusa Islands with lots of traditional Balinese favorites but also a good variety of western options. For example, for dinner, you can have a burger and fries or a plate of Nasi Goreng (Balinese Rice dish), with the latter being significantly cheaper. So rest assured there will be opportunities to try the local cuisine or to have a western meal if you prefer. Vegetarian and even vegan is also catered to at most places but vegan/gluten-free isn’t a guarantee in every situation.
Water: In Indonesia, it is advised for people coming from a western country to drink bottled water due to different bacterias and elements in the local water that may cause sickness. Bottled water is inexpensive.
Alcohol: If you choose to have a few beers or alcoholic drinks during the trip this is up to you. I am going to act as your fellow adventurer, workshop host, and friend but if you don’t wake up in time for departure in the morning because you are hungover you will miss out on the day’s action. I want you to have a great time and make the most of the opportunity of learning and the adventure.
I can’t predict the weather but all of the photos in this blog post were taken during my trip to the Nusa Islands in March 2017. The weather should be good for adventures with highs of 31 degrees Celsius and the rainy season has just come to an end.
Crew members will sign a waiver of liability before beginning the trip. You will be responsible for your actions during the trip and must respect local culture, the environment and everyone we meet. Balinese people are among the friendliest in the world and without question, at all times we will respect their rules, laws and their land.
