TOP 10 CHEAP HOTELS IN WAIKIKI ON OAHU, HAWAII
Okay, so let’s dive in and get going with this list of the (best) cheapest hotels in Waikiki. I think you’ll be surprised how many great swimming pools are on the list.
AQUA OASIS
Aqua Oasis Hotel (Family Pick): Aqua Oasis is a 3-star hotel in the center of Waikiki. It is within walking distance of everything such as restaurants, main shopping, and Waikiki Beach. It has a tropical theme and offers tastefully decorated, spacious rooms that come with a mini-fridge, coffee maker, en-suite bathroom with a bathtub, and a balcony. Some rooms have a fully-equipped kitchenette and couches.
The swimming pool is a bit small but who needs a massive pool if you can just walk to the beach, right? These are the small details that make it one of the best cheap hotels in Waikiki rather than doubling its price due to a larger pool. Plus, the property provides guests free beach towels and chairs for daily use, unlike bigger resorts that charge for all the extras. Also, a delicious continental breakfast is included in the price. This hotel is perfect for a family.

HOTEL LA CROIX WAIKIKI
Hotel La Croix Waikiki (Excellent Location): Fantastic view, amazing breakfast, and excellent location are what Hotel La Croix offers to its guests. It is only a short walk to Waikiki Beach. The hotel has a small, Insta-worthy swimming pool with a stunning view of Waikiki’s scenery.
If you stay here, I would recommend booking a room on the 16th floor as the balcony view is incredible. Breakfast is included during your stay, which is an added value bonus. I actually think this one great value considering it is one of the more luxurious hotels on this list. The price doesn’t reflect the amazing pool and modern setup of this hotel so it’s one of the best budget hotels in Waikiki Beach.
