Getting to Kuah Jetty on Langkawi
This is the main arrival and departure station for ferries in Langkawi, and because of this there are taxi and private cars available to drive you directly there, as well as being a bus that arrives outside of the City Bayview Hotel in Kuah.

Getting to Telegae Harbor Marina on Langkawi
For this departure station, there is no form of public transport. You will need to book a taxi or private transfer ahead of your ferry trip from Langkawi to Koh Lipe.

This petite paradise island is best visited during the months of December through to and including March. Throughout this period temperatures reach between 25-30 degrees and there is the lowest amount of rainfall.

If you are looking to go to Koh Lipe when there are less tourists, then November and June are the ideal months for you, but please note that even though temperatures can still reach up to 30 degrees, there is more rainfall expected.

Watch a sunrise
If you’re not a morning person, this is something you will definitely want to get up early for. Sunrise beach has this name for a reason, because it offers the perfect spot to watch one of Koh Lipe’s gorgeous sunrises. Start your day off well with this inspiring must-do experience.

Go snorkelling or diving
Koh Lipe offers a breathtaking underwater world. You will be swimming through crystal clear turquoise waters whilst being able to admire the beautiful marine life. There are many diving schools and snorkelling tour operators so you won’t need to worry about missing out. You can even earn your open water certification with several of the local dive shops.

Visit the beaches
Covered in white sands, beach hopping and wandering around the hidden bays is a wonderful day well spent. The landscape surrounding the coast of Koh Lipe and the views overlooking the ocean are awe-inspiring.
