It’s convenient access to the airport and proximity to Bohol’s Tagbilaran ferry port make it a popular destination for travelers to the region. Mad Monkey Panglao is one of the best located hostels in Bohol. Located just a short walk from Sunset Beach, this party hostel is known for its great vibes and good facilities. I recommend their private rooms for great value and even better socializing.

Abraham Bohol is a modern new hostel in Bohol. Located on the main road just outside Alona Beach, Abraham is a chill place to call home. The resort offers both comfortable dorm rooms as well as family rooms and king rooms. With space to sleep up to 7, the grand family room is my top recommendation!

Facilities at Abraham Bohol include 2 swimming pools, a daily buffet breakfast, a shared kitchen and lounge, and an ATM. Guests can partake in scheduled tours and activities with fellow travelers, or simply unwind in the gardens or by the pool. It’s a clean and well-maintained accommodation, and one of the best hostels in Bohol.

Moon Fools Hostel

Moon Fools Hostel is my favorite hostel in Panglao. I stayed here on and off for over 2 months, and always enjoyed the chill vibe and great location, only 5 minutes from Alona Beach. You can book a private room or a mixed or female dormitory. This eco-friendly hostel takes pride in its excellent location, air-conditioned rooms, cheery interior, and free continental breakfast.

They also offer a plethora of services such as tour arrangements, motorbike rental, shuttle service, and even a convenience store on-site. What’s more? I loved being upstairs from multiple restaurants and across the street from Shaka, my favorite Cafe. Moon Fools Hostel is not just popular for its location, but also for its budget-friendly rate so it is a great value for money.

Oasis Balili Heritage Lodge is a charming Spanish-inspired accommodation situated in Tagbilaran City. It is very close to the port, which is a unique feature. This two-story lodge has a wide selection of rooms from deluxe rooms, large single rooms, to 4-bed mixed dormitory rooms.
