Panglao Island is a good choice for beach bums, nightlife, and divers. There are a few other quieter spots you may want to stay and I’ve listed a few hostels in those areas also. In this blog post, I’ve handpicked the ten best hostels in Bohol to help you narrow down your search if you’re planning to visit the island.

GREENSPACE HOSTEL 

GREENSPACE Hostel (Clean Rooms): If cleanliness, safety, and great proximity to the beach are your top priorities in choosing a hostel in Bohol, then Greenspace is exactly what you are looking for. It is close to Dumaluan Beach (the most beautiful beach on Panglao Island).

B-hol Huts (Budget/ Location Pick): A lovely property situated in a good location that is closed to important points in Bohol. B-hols Huts features amenities like a garden to chill, complimentary Wi-Fi, a restaurant that prepares a simple breakfast, and a sun terrace. Guests of all types are very welcome here with good accommodations to choose from.

They have mixed dormitory rooms that can accommodate up to eight guests, deluxe rooms, and budget rooms with en-suite bathrooms and other basic furniture. Although some rooms don’t come with AC, it is still comfortable and mosquitoes will not be a big deal since mosquito nets are installed in every bed adding to the coziness of the room. Guests can also play billiards and enjoy drinks at the bar on-site. I’ve stayed here and had a great time, hanging out with the staff and other backpackers. I’d definitely recommend this as one of the most authentic hostels on Bohol Island.
