The Myanmar adventures are over and I am back in Sri Lanka, the land of elephants. My sister also headed to Sri Lanka and is on her own adventure while I have joined the Sri Lanka Tourism Board on a two-week adventure throughout the country.
I am linking back up with Jorden Tually and Martin Solhaugen on this trip, which makes the journey even better. Patrice Averilla and Neus Marques, my two other friends from Philippines and Spain have joined also. It was awesome that the tourism board asked me for my recommendations of influencers and I was able to handpick an awesome crew to explore Sri Lanka.
Our first two nights we kicked off the tour at the 5-star Movenpick in Colombo. The highlight was having a gym for the first time in a while and enjoying the rooftop infinity pool, which overlooked the ocean from 24 floors.
For the next 10 days, I will explore and create content throughout Sri Lanka, which is an awesome opportunity.
I always say it but looking back twelve months is a crazy feeling for me. This time last year Jorden and I were in the Philippines on our: 1 month, $800 Island backpacking adventure. I was just getting into blogging in a serious way and making just enough to survive. Time flies when you’re having fun.
