This week I was hanging out at the beach, taking photos of Koalas with my friend’s amazing camera gear and spending time connecting with you all through a Q&A. However, in between all of those happenings I have been spending a considerable amount of time reflecting on my blogging journey. Although it seems like longer it has only been nine months. I began blogging with Jess in April 2015 and have been blogging solo since September 2015.

Journey Era has always been about the period in life where I wanted to explore the world but also to explore new opportunities and discover new perspectives. The journey has already taken me to many countries across Asia and to many more in 2017.
My goal for the first year of blogging was to enjoy traveling, create as much interesting content as I can and evolve as a creative and also as a person leading into new challenges to come. As April looms in the near future I have begun soul-searching, deep-thinking and undertaking extensive research as to what I want year two of Journey Era to look like.
I have been doing my best to stay true to what is important to me despite heavy pressures to make money, use my influence/social reach for personal gain or to live a certain way. Since traveling solo in September I decided to go with the flow, more so than usual. I have been waiting for things to feel right, rushing nothing and having faith in my own plan, ability and direction.
So what does all this mean for year two of Journey Era? Travel with purpose. My biggest aim for year two is to travel, observe, learn about issues and problems, find a way to help and then execute. I am going to need the help of other creatives and I am going to need the help of everyone who has been following me on this journey.
